WHAT IS REBARMAT ROUND?
REBARMAT ROUND is a smooth-surface Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) bar designed for applications where minimal diameter, controlled bonding, and precision placement are essential. Unlike ribbed reinforcement bars, REBARMAT ROUND features a round, non-profiled surface, making it particularly suitable for very thin concrete elements and small precast components.
Engineered from high-strength glass fibers embedded in a durable polymer matrix, REBARMAT ROUND delivers corrosion resistance, lightweight handling, and stable mechanical performance while allowing greater flexibility in thin-section design. The smooth geometry ensures consistent positioning within narrow molds and reduces the risk of surface defects in slender elements.
REBARMAT ROUND is primarily used in small precast elements, architectural panels, façade components, thin slabs, lightweight structural details, and specialized molded products where traditional ribbed reinforcement may be oversized or impractical. Its reduced profile makes it ideal for applications requiring tight concrete cover and precise dimensional control.
